Climate in Bhutan

The ideal time to visit Bhutan is either pre-monsoon from mid-March when the winter snow has begun to melt, until the end of May; or post-monsoon, from early September to late November. Temperatures can vary considerably depending on your elevation but as a guideline, temperatures in the capital, Thimphu, in April/May and October range from around 5C to around 25C.
